He he, i have seen that so manny times, that i almost knows all the dialogue, almost. I particular like their mother, and her character she plays it so well.
Me too. I saw the making-of, and apparently on the first day everyone was sitting around a bit nervous, and she came in and just started doing the character and making everyone laugh :-)
Cool! I think I know all the dialogue off by heart! I totally love that miniseries. Have you read 'The making of Pride and Prejudice' ? Its a book the BBC put out and has interviews with the stars, the locations of all the houses in the series, costume sketches and lots more. I have the book if you want to borrow it. :)
Thank you for the offer. I do indeed have that book and it is fantastic! I also have the DVD of the show, the soundtrack to the show, several copies of the book, both abridged and unabridged audio versions of the book, a Jane Austen action figure (that was a gift).
That's a great obsession. I'm a huge Jane Austen fan too. Do you know I had this idea for a book 'The Jane Austen Guide to Dating.' My plan was to use the characters as models for how to get the man you want. It was all going to be light hearted and funny. Then I see the very same book, with the same title and the same idea in my library! I couldn't believe it! I should not have sat on the idea so long.
*giggle* So long as no-one gets advised to act like Anne in Persuasion. She just acts the wallflower and eventually he realises he doesn't want an exciting girl at all. It was an absolute miracle she got hooked in the end.
