Wonders if this will be on the news

Some member of the group that has been doing the bombings in Iraq set up a 105mm howitzer round as a booby trap for US soldiers. It was found by EOD. Once it was disarmed, the shell was found chemical agents in it. The military is reporting that the dunce was most likely not aware that it was a chemical round. But, it was a chemical agent. I was ( Read more... )

Rolls eyes so hard that they feel like theyre going to get stuck.

I have a few family members in the military that say that if we believe there were never wmd's in iraq, we're blind and stupid.

Agreed. He gassed the Kurds and the Shiites at some point. The problem is simple. Iraq is about the size of CA and mainly desert. It is like looking for a needle in a haystack to find them.

To a part of his message in the same tense as he was writing it...

I was under the impression that there were no WMDs in Iraq according to the Liberals.

But actually, there are still some folks walking around who think there were never
WMD's in iraq.

Thats like saying that no one in america has ever made a bullet or shot a gun.

The idea that the news agencies are largely liberal is based on a study in the 70's showing that most reporters were democrats. In my observation, most reporters these days are pretty apolitical opportunist/sensationalists...and the people who own the media are largely conservative - as tends to be the case with most owners of multi-billion dollar corporations.

And it's not "the Liberals" who say there were no WMDs in Iraq at the time of the war, but the fact that we have not found the supposed large stockpiles.

Actually, thre's not that much damn difference between any of the politicos, except maybe one the fringe, that I can see. All wrapped up in name-calling and symbolic gestures while moving to maingain control and establish power.

Hey - did you catch this post: http://empressdaleth.livejournal.com/158116.html

The "liberal media" is one of the most cherished myths of Republican victimology, trumpeted daily by sycophants like Limbaugh. You are not going to confuse anyone who believes this non-sense with any facts.

And it's not "the Liberals" who say there were no WMDs in Iraq at the time of the war, but the fact that we have not found the supposed large stockpiles. How pathetic is it that supporters of Bush are reduced to trumpeting finding one, measley, god-knows-how-old shell, (I'm sorry, two, they found one with mustard gas last week) as vindicating the rectitude of their despicable kaiser ( ... )

let's see here - the U.N. had 12 years and found no wmd's, and when the US said "time's up" they whined "we need more time!"

Now, it's been less than 1/10th as long and the Left says "see - Bush lied about wmd's!!"

Can you say "double-standard"?

I've even heard some people actually say that the Bush administration had something to do with the murder of Nick Berg, as a diversion from the so-called "prison abuse" scandal - these people make me wanna puke, and their politicizing of the murder of an innocent man is a disgusting insult to the late Mr. Berg and his family.
