I stumbled across Alison Bechdel's online Dykes To Watch Out For strip. I love her work, have always loved her work and felt like I was missing out since I moved to NZ. Books here are pricey and while I did get one of her books for a gift hadn't kept up on it ( Read more... )

Absolutely adore the tail :) The boys thank you buckets. I find them up half the night running around chasing it. I do believe however guiness loves it the most. Seeing as she sleeps with it. It is much adored :)

Glad y'all like it :) Our boys like theirs but since we had a few around and they don't play with them all the time I thought it would be good to go to a new home :) We also picked up a cool possum fur toy that you pull the string and it vibrates. They went crazy for that when we brought it home!

well, having chin tufts is promising! I forgot to enquire what the dangers of testosterone would be? The doses wouldn't be that high would they? And you still have some estrogen to help out with the cardiovascular system right?

I've been having hotflashes due to autoimmune ovarian failure (I don't get regular periods and my body cranks up the FSH hoping to produce estrogen) and they are horrible - plus I'm always worried about developing osteo (calcium, magnesium and vitamin D supplements).

I've marked this entry in my memories so I can come back and read the graphic comic later...

It's been awhile since I've looked into testosterone. Some of the cons/side effects are decrease in bone density, increased chance of heart trouble/heart attacks (can't remember which right now) and possible premature baldness. The prescription I was originally written (but never filled) in August was for a lower dose tablets. Some guys go onto a liquid suspension they have to inject into their thighs/buttocks (not sure which again, been awhile). The other things that can happen on testerone are things like deeper voice, redistribution of body fat, increased hair, stopping periods.
