Interview seemed like it went pretty well today. Got compliments from coworkers re: my suit (most didn't know I had an interview). Even got a compliment from random Cofee Shop Worker Dude when I went in for coffee with my old team leader re: my tie and that I looked sharp

Thanks. I didn't hear anything today. I'm not sure if that's bad (--ie I didn't get the job) or if that just means they haven't made the decision yet. Or maybe I'm 2nd choice and they are waiting to see if choice #1 takes their offer before telling me no/offering it to me?

From experience being a manager, a 5 day turnaround is the least you can expect ..... self doubt in these things is normal so don't kick yourself for that ...

Yeah, it surprised me when they said I'd hear in a couple of days. I'm supposed to start contacting my new customers and introduce myself, but I want to hold off until I know what's going on.

Definitely self-doubt! :)
