Joss Whedon Passed on 'Buffy' Reboot

For those who are interested Hollywood Reporter said Joss passed on Buffy's reboot last year. Here is the information.

This is not news, though. Like I have mentioned on Twitter, I remember Joss talking about it a while ago, but I didn't take it seriously. I think the whole thing should just stay untouched by everyone for at least 7 more years. And if somebody touches it so soon after the end, it should be Joss.

I do remember too, however is interesting to see how this is being put together. Whedonesque comments are being quite hard on the topic.

What is interesting in this new "semi-wank" is to realize that maybe Joss passed on this because:

1. He didn't like the producers
2. He wasn't sure to be in control of the project.

Also, he is very involved in the comics therefore there is no need to try something when he is already doing something about it.
