Is it just me, or does it seem that when people beseech and BEG me on their hands and knees to update a story on ff.net, I do what they ask out of the goodness of my heart because unlike popular belief, I, like all authors, HAVE A LIFE SO I CANNOT SPEND EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY DAY WRITING UP FANFICTION MOST PEOPLE WOULD NEVER GIVE A SECOND GLANCE

It's the same with art, I find; having had a deviantart account in addition to that. I posted a rant about it once on my journal there. But yeah. All the fans care about seems to be the fandom, and I, when reading something, instantly think to mind when I comment that the comment has to have some SUBSTANCE to it, otherwise they may as well not comment at all. Being a writer myself, I adore it when people actually tell me what the person LIKES about my writing, as opposed to dropping comments like "kawaii" or "cute" and ect. ... Which is why I completely spazzed out on you the one time you commented on one of my drabbles and actually DID tell me what you liked.
But yes, know that I completely agree with you, dear.

I'll admit that my few reviews haven't been that extensive, either. I find it hard to put my analyses into words, though...
But betas sort of help in that department, don't you think?
