I went into town with friends today - as we usually do every so often - and totally went to see Lesbian Vampire Killers (insert eyebrow raise here). It was okay - some of it was funny, other parts of it were trying WAY too hard to be funny, but hey it was okay, like I said... I guess. ugh, i HATED that black freighter nonsense. i saw where it was going from the very beginning. my boyfriend skipped it entirely, that's how into it he was.

It was quite confusing, I agree... It kind of distracted me from the real plot - what with it crowding into the panels and so on.

I think...subtext wise - and if I was, like, analysing the comic - it's really effective, but in terms of telling the story it's a bit of a pain in the arse tbh... >_>;;

Like I said, I just wanna see what the Under the Hood thing is like, lol.
