I am financially secure and intelligent, I will give you that. As for my "adventurousness," I am not quite so certain that is entirely correct. Possibly "intensely curious" would be a better choice of words

I have no idea, Nathaniel -- I am never any good at figuring these things out? I mean, I don't think you're adventurous, really, but you have lived such a long time that of course you try new things? So I don't know how it works.
And you are totally arrogant, selfish, and humorless, to most people, but why does that make you not worth dating? I don't get it.
I think you're a better person to date than I am. I would never date me.
Again, I believe I am curious and generally fearless when it comes to attempting things (it does help, being immortal and having a healing factor), but I do not think I am adventurous. I think you are, and possibly Isobel, but not I.
Possibly some people do not like arrogance. I hesitate to say that you may find the quality attractive; it seems to me that you might, at any rate.
I do have a sense of humour, it is only that it is a bit...dry.
I have no complaints. I know that you are worried you are difficult, but I quite enjoy dating you.
As I said to your charming sister, reserved would be a better word. So, yes, given your connotations of we Victorians (though, likely I am the only one left), it would be similar.

I am not, however, as sexually repressed as many of my contemporaries. Nor was I, even then. I do have that in my favour.
I am glad you think I am amusing. Just this evening I attempted to make a joke and Isobel attempted to throw a potholder at me.

I like your sense of humor. I never think you're laughing at me, unless you are. I can tell.

Thank you. I am also aware when you are laughing at me.
