If you haven't seen it, check out the comedy film "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airplane!". According to Wiki, it is the "fourth remake of the Arthur Hailey novel Runway Zero-Eight".

Oh, Airplane! is *awesome*, and I think a little more of that sensibility in "Snakes" would have been a good thing.
