So I am watching Psych, and lo, it is good! My primary reaction is OMG GUS. HART. Is there seriously more Shawn/Lassiter than Shawn/Gus that is ridiculous. Also that Shawn's dad is a dick.

The torrent for s1 is going stupidly slow, though. allllso I am running out of space on my laptop.

I myself don't see the appeal of Shawn/Lassiter when Shawn and Gus are clearly married, but to each their own.

I am totally with you on Shawn/Gus, but when you get to "From the Earth to the Starbucks" you will understand the Shawn/Lassiter more.

Oh, and P.S. if you only want to see the best eps, I feel like "Who Ya Gonna Call?" and "Forget Me Not" are the worst/most skippable episodes in S1 (I barely consider WYGC canon, while FMN is mostly dull) and "From the Earth to the Starbucks" and "Cloudy... With a Chance of Murder" are the best.

Okay, that actually makes me feel better, because right now I'm just not seeing it at *all* and it seemed like 'hay let's pair up the white guys!' But I may be a little over-judgey on that issue at the moment. And I know some people prefer the antagonistic slash to the bffs type *anyway*, so.

I will keep the ep recommendations in mind... I'll probably watch them anyway, just because I'm a completionist like that and the thought of skipping episodes makes me itchy, but I like to be pre-warned for suckage.
