Who counts as an African?

I’ve been 21 for an entire week today. Oddly enough I haven’t feel older, but rather younger this week. I think this has a lot to do with the fact that Tanzanian students (who are typically in their mid-twenties) have started moving into the dorm and I’m one of the youngest foreign students at the university

i'm jealous of your excursions
but not your classes

i imagine they're tidier and try to present themselves in a nicer fashion 'cause nice clothes/clean appearance is still a strong indicator of someone's standing in the country... unlike america, where the rich people try to look poor and the poor people try to look like rich people looking like poor people.
