Bob's car flies away from the Principal Office. Hex is riding shotgun as Dot drives, Hex looks rather comfortable her feet on the dash. They are heading toward Lost Angles.

"Dot," began Hex, "How long have you and Bob been, well, together?"

Hex looked to Dot.

Dot glanced at Hex, "We've been dating for a few minutes now."

Why does it matter to Hex how long Dot's been dating Bob...

Hex put her hands behind her head.

"Just checking," she said, "How are the duckies doing?"

It didn't matter if they were all that serious or not. Hex figured that if they were there was no danger for Dot's heart being broken. Why not have a little fun with Bob.

There may be no danger of Dot's heart being broken... Hex's various limbs would be another file altogether if Dot ever found out. Not to mention the trouble Bob might get in...

The car neared Lost Angles and circled as Dot looked for a clear spot to park the car.

Two mookbots hover around chasing after a null, the red one perking up and pointing to an orange null.

"Look! that could be Nibbles!"

The other looked around uneasily. "I do not like L.A. ..."

Hex was standing on the street her hands outstretched, a pile of nulls formed at her feet.

"Dad, it's me, Dot. Can you hear me?"

Dot is doing her best to talk to the pile of nulls. Her priorities have gone out of whack since she first heard her father's voice come from the null cocoon. This Command.Com is heading for a very big breakdown in the near future if she keeps this up.

The pile collapsed.

"oops," said Hex rather annoyed that this took so much concentration just to control nulls.
