Fan Account: A-Nation Tokyo 28.8.2010 (JUNSU/JEJUNG/YUCHUN)

Aug 30, 2010 02:27

I just came back from Tokyo and here's my fan account of the A-Nation yesterday and YES, it is very Tohoshinki biased. XD

I reached Ajinomoto stadium at about 7 something in the morning and yes, even at that time, it was boiling HOT but there were already fans (TOHOSHINKI FANS, you crazy fandom you) waiting outside the entrance... which was supposed to be opened at 12pm XO... I sat down with them but couldn't last 5 minutes under the hot sun and the boredom so I decided to go back to the station and eat something at McD.

When I came back at about 8am the line went all the way to the nearby street. I was like "DX WHOA..." and started my long journey to the end of the line, which was luckily under the shade so YAY, no hot sun. So I sat there waiting while seeing the line get longer and longer and longer and whoa 12pm is about 4 hours more... Majority was TVXQ fans and others were Ayumi Hamasaki and Kouda Kumi fans.

But suddenly around 9am, the line started moving and looks like they're letting us crazy fans in XD. I walked until we reached the entrance again and OMGSUN OMGHOTSUN. There were 2 Korean fans near me. LOL before I knew they were Korean, I was staring because one had a Ze:A towel XD

Anyway, when we finally entered the stadium area, the line was divided into 2. Those who wanted to buy the goods for the Power Stage were asked to go to the right. And those who wanted to buy JUNSU/JEJUNG/YUCHUN goods were asked to go to the left. LOL WE GET OUR OWN LINE XD. THEY FREAKIN HAD TO OPEN UP THE STADIUM AREA BECAUSE THERE WERE TOO MANY TOHOSHINKI FANS. We lined up and then they made us walk ONE ROUND around the stadium before we could reach the goods stalls and when we finally reached, everybody was like ready to run to get into the lines outside the booths. I think the staff working at the JUNSU/JEJUNG/YUCHUN booths were probably freaking out seeing the stampede... XD And as my sis said, "But they're Japanese fans? I thought Japanese fans are usually... calmer." LOL YEAH, the power of Tohoshinki.

So, I got my goods. I wanted to buy Junsu bangles for my friends but we couldn't pick which member and I bought 2 just in case and just my luck, I got Yoochun and Jaejoong LOL. Good for me, tough luck for my friends. Oh, so much orange that day. Tohoshinki fans everywhere.

Let's skip my adventure of looking for shade and go on to the starting of A-Nation! I was all ready with my orange shirt and orange towel but with a Tohoshinki A-Nation'09 uchiwa(fan) and I entered the stadium.

At 1.15pm the Opening Acts started performing.

First, we had Honey L Days, a group with 2 guys. They had good voices and I love how fun the crowd at A-Nation is. Although most people were still walking around, Honey L Days got a good response from the crowd. They kinda reminded me of Kobukuro.

Then was Dream 5. 5 young girls with a color theme each. Huh. Nice voices. Not much to say LOL

While they were performing, 2 older women who were seating next to me were confused with all the orange stuff people were wearing( I think) because they asked me about it:

Women: Whose towel is that? *referring to the orange towel on my shoulders*
Me: Umm... *reading the words written on it out* Junsu/Jejung/Yuchun...
Women: *confused looks* Who?
Me: Tohoshinki?
Women: OHHHHHHHHHH
Me: XD

Next up was dance flow, a mixed group 4 guys and 4 girls and they started off singing My First Kiss by 3Oh!3 feat Ke$ha and I was like "Hey, a song I know!" XD
They had a very Korean style thing going on (one of the girls actually reminded me of 2NE1's CL) and I checked the artist index and OHHH THEY'RE FROM TAIWAN. I really like them! The girls were fierce! The boys were great too(although I'm spoiled by TVXQ ;P)

Then was a performance by the students of TRF(Sam)'s dance academy. Lots of people one one stage.

2.00pm and KOUDA KUMI appears! *FLAILSSSS*
She was all dressed up in a sexy reddish-yellowish-orange oufit. Awesome!
She performed and sad to say, I don't really know her older songs. She sang a medley of sorts of her songs and the crowd loves her especially this group of 3 guys sitting(standing XD) 2 rows in front of me. And OMG the crowds totally screamed when she sang Last Angel in her medley. I was like "YES A TOHOSHINKI SONG IN A-NATION!". Well, ok, fine it's a Kouda Kumi song too but OMG SHE SANG IT, I LOVE HER♥ She also sang Honey Flash and I totally spazzed when she sang Lollipop because I love that song lol

Girl Next Door was next but sadly nature called so I didn't see much of her performance. After getting back to my seat, I think Iconiq was performing and OMG the hot sun was blasting my side of the stage X_x. I made friends with the 2 women who asked me the orange towel question and they were looking at the Tohoshinki fan I was holding.

Women: Who's you favorite member?
Me: Oh, umm, Yunho and Changmin. *points to the 2 on the right*
Women: Ohhhh
Me: But today only 3 are coming... T___T
Women: *points to the 2 on the left* Those 2 are not coming, right? (I'm guessing since my favs are HoMin, theye expected them to be here T____________________T)
Me: *chokes on air* What??? No no, these 3 *point so JaeChunSu* are performing today.
Women: Ohhhh *probably very confused*. He was in that drama right? *points to Jaejoong*
Me: Yup ^^. Sunao ni Narenakute.

....Yeah. Anyway, I think Bright performed next. 4 ladies from Kansai doing acapella. They really reminded me of CSJH and they were good.

WaT performed and you can hear some fangirls screaming for Wentz Eiji or Teppei LOL. They sang a new song called 24/7 and the only line I remembered was "I love you more than 24/7 mou ichido" or something like that because that line confused me but hey, I'm a Chunglish fan so I can't say much XD

Then was Suzuki Ami but I couldn't stand the heat and ran to look for water. Sorry.

Next was hitomi and I have no idea why she was wearing a Red Indian headdress...

At this point I was too hot and sweaty and tired that I gave up taking notes and just tried to continue cheering for the artists. So excuse my vague memory and for not remembering the order the next artists came out in.

The Secret Artist was Watanabe Naomi who... isn't an artist actually but a comedian who does impressions of Beyonce singing LOL. Did I mention I love the A-nation crowds for always cheering loudly for everyone XD.

moumoon performed as a shooting act.

Triple AAA's performance was awesome and the crowds love them. I really should pay more attention to them. One of the guy's had mad rapping skillz. And they were hot. XD

50TA, another comedian turned artist for today also performed. Don't know him? He's the one who started the "Ramen tsukemen, boku ikemen." gag. Yes, 50TA. He was wearing some kind of purple sequinned coat with arms on it that curve above his head. Yeah, try to imagine it. LOL

Anyway, while I was sitting in my seat, I overheard a conversation between the people behind me.

Woman: What is all this orange?
Man: It's Tohoshinki.
Woman: Ehhhh?? (because seriously, there was a sea of orange)
Man: A-nationと言えば、東方神起だよ。(When you say A-nation, it's definitely Tohoshinki)
Woman: So all these orange are Toshinki fans?
Man: Yeah. You see the parts that aren't orange? The green? Those are Tohoshinki fans too. *referring to those with the Bigeast towels or last year's A-nation goods*

Hell yeah.

The person sitting next to me arrived late and surprise surprise, she was wearing an orange towel and looks like she came just to watch the late performances. Later on, after we talked a little, she told me that she spent the whole Friday waiting for JaeChunSu to arrive at Haneda airport. Wow....

There was a break and the cameraman focused on the fans. Lots of adorable kids and sweaty people LOL. The fans cheered when the camera focused on a fan holding up a sign that said "Samu-san, thank you for always taking care of Junsu, Jejung and Yuchun!" The fans also cheered when the cameras showed 7 fans, each holding an uchiwa that spelled out だいすきJJY (or was it JYJ? I'm not exactly sure because Japan doesn't really use JYJ these days). Yes, the crowd is very Toho-biased. I also noticed a small uchiwa that said 「ピースして」which means "Please make peace!" which probably referred to Tohoshinki T_T. Also, the 2 women Toho-fans and their 3 kids were hoping to get caught by the camera. They were freakin wearing those silver belted costumes that TVXQ wore during the T concert. Yes, they had on matching costumes! Even their 3 adorable sons. I wanted to take a pic with them, too bad about the no camera rules. DX

The fans were getting hyped up the later it got because we all knew JaeChunSu were coming up.

But first, the other artists. do as infinity and mihimaru GT also performed and definitely popular and I don't know much about do as infinity but I do like mihimaru GT. mihimaru GT has 2 members, Hiroko, the female vocalist, and Miyake, the guy who raps (of course they write and sing too). Anyway after singing some songs, Hiroko said "Because today is the A-Nation in Tokyo, Miyake came today!" and Miyake was like "Wait, I perform with you all the time! Don't say it like I only perform today specially!" LOL

After their performance, everybody was so freakin hyped up because it was almost sunset and we know Junsu/Jejung/Yuchun were going to perform around that time. Some already lit up their penlights and then on the screen, the words "Shooting Act" popped up and everybody was like "ohhhh not yet."

alan performed and I love her voice and she's very pretty. Too bad she's performing before the ultimate trio because most of the fans were restless with anticipation. When she finished, most of the fans started lighting up their penlights and we go back to the man and woman behind me:

Man: You see all those reds? Those are Tohoshinki fans too.
Woman: O____o

LOL

It's time.

The sea of red was amazing and believe me there was a LOT of red. Sadly you'll have to excuse the lousy quality of secretly taking a picture with my handphone.

The words introducing Junsu/Jejung/Yuchun came out on screen and everybody(80%?) of the stadium screamed and the other 20% looked at the sea of red and were probably going "O___O OMG WHAT'S GOING ON???" THe 2 guys sitting next to me ran away. And the 3 guys sitting 2 rows in front of me were looking around the stadium with these shocked looks on their faces. I was spazzing with the Jaejoong fan next to me and the Yoochun-family!fan in front of me. See that guy with the handphone and the towel? He's one of the Kouda Kumi/Ayu fans who were cheering along and having fun. Yeah, he's awesome.

The countdown started and all the fans were shouting along with it. OMG the energy was amazing. I mean, with the other artists the crowds were cheering too of course, but seriously, JaeChunSu weren't even out yet but the screams were deafening and there was a sea of red (and blue) and OMG I LOVE THIS FANDOM.

"Kimi dake ni aitakatta yo~" Jaejoong sang and almost the whole stadium went wild. XD
When it was Yoochun's turns, the screams were deafening. I was like "Whoa Yoochun fans. No wonder there were so many Minnie mouse hairbows and Mickey Mouse towels/t-shirts among the fans." The fans in front of me(the women and their children) were flailing and going on and on about how hot Yoochun was XD. Junsu's line next and more loud cheering and the guy behind me was laughing in awe at the fan's awesome reaction. Him and his group kept on going "Yabai yo yabai yo" throughout JaeChunSu's performance. Basically, it means "This is dangerous this is dangerous" but in an awe-like way.

When the song ended it was time for their introductions. Let me say, all the artists had their MC moments but all the non-fans were shocked at the reaction that JaeChunSu got.

JaeChunSu: Tokyo no mina-san, konbanwa!
Fans: *SCREAM!!*
Non-fan behind me: Sugoi...

I mean, seriously, it was amazing. For a fan anyway. For a normal member of the audience, it'd be very very intimidating/puzzling. All Junsu said was "Konbanwa, Junsu desu." and the fans went wild screaming ("OMGOMGOMG HE SAID HIS NAME IS JUNSU!!!" *SQUEAL* LOL Kidding. Like us fans could string more than two words together when going into fangirling mode XP). Then Junsu said that it was very hot and that we shouldn't lose to the heat etc. And last but not least "Mina-san saigo made moriagatte ikimashou!!" and the fans screamed even louder. And yes, non-fans who don't know about them would probably be amazed because it's not like it's the first time we heard "Mina-san saigo made moriagatte ikimashou" today. (Basically means "Everybody let's have fun!")

Then it was Yoochun turn and yes he still had that kinda weird hairstyle that most Yoochun fan seem to hate but I don't mind so much LOL. Yoochun was trying to make fun of Junsu because Junsu left to prepare for his performance but the fans were screaming too much so I couldn't really make out what he was saying. He then went on too:

Yoochun: *roaring* TOKYO NO MINNA GENKI DESU KA?!!!
Fans: GENKI!!!!!!
Yoochun: *looks to Jaejoong* Their voices are softer than the Osaka crowd, aren't they?
Fans: Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh???? (because that GENKI!! was the loudest cheer the whole day)
Yoochun: One more time. MINNA TOKYO GENKI???!!!!
Fans: GENKI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yoochun: Konbanwa. Yoochun desu. *cutely*
Fans in general: *MORE SCREAMING*
Fans near me: KAWAII!!!! (And these are the older fans...)
Fan wearing T costume: *screaming to Yoochun* DOUSHITE SONO KAMI??? (WHAT'S WITH THAT HAIRSTYLE???)
Me: OMGLOL
Fan wearing T costume's 5(?) year old son: Kawaii yo Yoochun! (or was it kowai? hmmm kawaii=cute, kowai=scary, yeah best not get that mixed up)

Yoochun continued his greetings which I could barely hear and ended with "Mina-san, saigo made, tanoshinde jyunbi OK!!!!" Then, "Mina-san, konbanwa, Jaejoong desu~" cue more screaming and the screams got even louder when Jaejoong said that he also really wanted to do Yoochun's jyunbi ok thing. So he walked to the front stage and the fans cheered because OMG he's getting closer but always never close enough. Tease XP. He basically asked each area of the stadium "Oku/hidari/migi no minna, genki?!!!" and we all answered him with, I should say, adoring screams, proving that yes, Japan loves Jaejoong.

Jaejoong: *walking back to the main stage* Well, everybody, you all still seem lively. Now we'd like to present you all the next stage. Get ready for XIAH JUNSU!!!
Fans: *SCREAMSSSS*

And Junsu appears with Intoxication. I don't really like listening to this song but I LOVE watching him perform it and screaming along with the crowd XD. And yes, the fans really do love the dance part at "Kiss me touch me~" LOL. Very SeXiahtic. And remember those 3 guys 2 rows in front of me that I mentioned. I loled so much because the guy on the most left had this puzzled look on his face and was trying to do the shoulder rolls of the "Kiss me touch me~" part and the other 2 were also amused by all the fangirls XD. Oh, Junsu's writhing around on the ground while belting out with his awesome voice. Excuse me while I flail like a mad chicken♥ Bet you Changmin saw a vid of Intoxication and totally went "Sexy image?? THAT'S MINE. HE'S NOT TAKING MY IMAGE AGAIN!" XDDDDD Would totally explain SMTown.

Then up next was JaeChun's Colors and yay, love this song and their beautiful harmony. The fans screamed like mad when both of them sang the chorus to each other and when they passed each other and grab each other's hand in a quick handshake. My fav part is the lalala part and I love hearing all the fans singing and swaying together. But the highlight of this song for me was watching the 3 guys 2 rows in front of me. The guy in the middle was sitting down, totally not joining the fun. The guy on the left was waving his uchiwa along awkwardly with this "What am I doing?" expression on his face until he looked to his friend on the most right. His expression went from "What am I doing?" to "What the hell are you doing??" because the guy on the most right was swaying and waving along and singing lalala with this huge smile on his face. When he noticed his friend staring at him, he just grinned back LOL and continued singing. So his friend on the left joined in too. ♥

Oh and the ending of Colors XD. JaeChun usually do that harmony "in love~" thing right? But before they went to that part, they paused.

JaeChun: *pause dramatically facing each other in the center of the stage*
Fans: *SQUEAL*
Yoochun(?): Wait- wait.
Fans: LOL
Jaejoong: *laughs* What's wrong?
Fans: LOLLLLL
Non-fans: O__o *most probably very confused*
Jaejoong: harmony in~
Yoochun: *surprised because Jaejoong started with 'harmony' again instead of 'in' but joins in anyway* in
Jaejoong *cracks up, laughing nervously*
JaeChun: in LOVE~~~

Then Junsu appears and it's time for Get Ready, a song with a lot of movements for the fans but probably those who went to the Tokyo Dome concert would know the dance steps. It involves a lot of hand clapping, hand waving and... hand movements. JaeChunSu were all so energetic and bouncy. And yay, the 3 guys in front of me? The guy in the middle finally stood up and joined in with his friends with the dancing and the having fun. YAY. I love that the group behind me(with the man and woman talking about the colors previously) were dancing along too ^^. I love Yoochun's rap!

Long Way next and I don't really know this song but I really really like it. It has a nice rhythm. And I think Yoochun did some awesome high notes. They were awesome and oh no, next would be the last song. T____T And while I was trying not to be all "OMG LAST SONG NOOOOO", the fan in front of me shouted, "YOOCHUN-AH, MARRY ME!!!" LOL

"Yozora ni ukanda~" Oh damn. W. BEAUTIFUL BOYS. BEAUTIFUL VOICES. BEAUTIFUL SONG. BEAUTIFUL PERFORMANCE. They stood in the front center stage and sort of faced each other as they sang. And the climax, the "Aitakute aitakute aitakute~" that leads to Yoochun's "kitto~" and JaeSu belting out their beautiful voices. Everybody clapped hands and cheered after they paused because, see there on stage, that's pure talent and hard work standing there. 3/5 gods are still 3 gods. And at that moment, I'm sure all the fans felt proud of them because THIS is why we scream for them. Don't ask me to explain what THIS is... I can't put it to words. I just feel so happy being part of this fandom.

And the song ends T____T
Jaejoong looked kinda sad during 'W' and when they finished and walked back to the main stage, Yoochun put his arms comfortingly around Jaejoong. They said their goodbyes and we were all "NOOOO COME BACK!" And those 3 guys that I keep mentioning, nothing made me happier than hearing the guy on the left, who was reluctantly cheering for JaeChunSu before, turn to his friend on the most right and asked him "What was that last song just now?". And the friend, who is awesome, smiled proudly and said "W." I think some fanboys will soon be joining our ranks. Although I'm seriously wondering whether the guy on the right was already a fanboy before this concert because if I remember correctly, he had this shocked expression too seeing all the fans but he was singing & cheering along and trying to take pics with his handphone too LOL.

The fans around me were all commenting, "They should perform last, not Ayumi Hamasaki." "Too bad it's probably impossible DX since they're not Japanese". I am amused that the Japanese fans themselves are thinking this.

Anyway, next was TRF and although some fans went back, most tried to stay because it was Sam performing and Sam takes care of the boys. I lasted about 2 songs before the heat and exhaustion and hunger got me so I left to eat at the nearby McD. Sorry guys. I missed Ayu's performance again. Sigh.

At the McD, a couple were sitting near me. I think the boyfriend was accompanying his girlfriend. And I overheard the boyfriend saying to his girlfriend, "Tohoshinki should have performed last." and the girl said, "Yes, they should DX." I guess since most of the fans were tired and believe me after sitting underneath the hot hot sun for nearly 11 hours(because Toho-fans were lining up since early morning remember?), I'm not surprised.

So that was my A-nation filled with Tohoshinki. I can's stop referring to them as Tohoshinki because... well, they're Tohoshinki. Even though Yunho and Changmin are my biases, I will still flail and scream and fangirl like mad for ALL of them. And believe me, they're the only group that can make my voice go high pitch. I'm not too good with putting my feelings into words, but seeing the sea of orange(with greenish tinges) and the sea of red and hearing the enthusiastic cheers from the fans, I just really really love this fandom. The non-crazy "WE SUPPORT 5 OF THEM" fandom.

Now I need to find a way to get to SMTown. I haven't cheered for my biases in AGES. T_T
