DAY ONE
7:00 am
THE SCENE: Me walking down the stairs just in time to see my 5 year old tackle my 2 year old.
ME: "What's this all about?"
5 YEAR OLD: "I had to stop her from touching the robot or it would have killed her!!!"
ME: "What?"
LILAC_WINE: "Ummmmm."
5 YEAR OLD: "Momma told us the robot would kills us if we touched it!!!"
ME: "What? The robot won't kill you. It just vacuums the floor for us."
LILAC_WINE: "Well, I did tell them the robot would kill them if they touched it."
ME: (Laughter). "OK, I'm glad to see you looking out for your baby sister. That's just the kind of big brother behavior I want. However, the robot won't kill you if you touch it....but don't touch it because we don't want it to break."
LILAC_WINE: "Let me be clear. If you kids touch the robot and break it, I will kill you."
ME: (Laughter).
11:00 am
2 YEAR OLD: (SCREAMS!) and comes running to Lilac_Wine. "The robot!!!!!" (She had touched it....in fact touching the "on" button making the robot leave its cradle and appear to chase her).
