Ah, Easter. The celebration of the rise of our Lord Jesus, and a time for new beginnings. It strikes me even now in my, aha, jaded age as incredible that Jesus Christ could have returned from the dead after a death as excruciating as crucifixion--let alone wanted to. It serves as a poignant reminder of the difference between god and man that Lord ( Read more... )

I am sorry if I treated you rudely, Sir Curtiss; certainly I meant no ill will.

The service was quite splendid, was it not?

[ It's absolutely fine with me. XDD I don't mind it at all, and it is consistent, so... ]

It was indeed, Your Highess. I was rather partial to the part on forgiveness; usually I find such sermons delivered weakly, but I felt quite receptive to that one. That Father is quite moving.

Am I? Well, people do change, Dist--sometimes for the worse, sometimes for the better.

Ah, yes, the service...

I was off pilfering acquiring breakfast and sleeping and I'm afraid I slept through the whole Easter shabang.

Sounds lovely though, really.

It's nice to see so many fakers making their way out to the church~

I'm quite sure. By the way, you don't need to make excuses to me for your absence.

They're not excuses!

They're perfectly acceptable reasons, thank you sir!

...The castle chapel must be so beautiful. I've only heard about it, I'm afraid.

Still, mass at my church was wonderful, as usual.

That's hardly surprising; commoners aren't allowed there. It is a pretty place, but I don't attend that one very often. It's usually quite stuffy.

I expect it was. Which part did you like, Xelha?

Oh, I see.

Hmm, well, I did enjoy the music that was performed. And, of course, the play. I know that part's never very long, but I always feel so awed by it.
