[Said mostly to himself:]

Mmm. So even after all this time, some things haven't quite changed as much as I would have liked...

But ultimately, when a death of someone such as His Highness occurs, what is important is to accept it.

Hm? ...oh, it's you.

And what might you be thinking, Dist?

What does he mean 'oh, it's you?'

... just wondering what's going to happen now.

It's difficult to say. If there was going to be a revolt or a riot, however, there would be nothing better than His Highness' death to spark one.

... this is the second time someone in the royal family has died...

But this time it was supposed to be a surprise!

Startled any?

... I would think the opposite was true...

So you'd rather see more of them dead?

He was weak, and he died. So it always goes.

You don't have to be weak to die, you know. It's that peculiarity of yours that makes you so cute, Sir Albel.

Of course you don't. It just helps to be stronger. Survival of the fittest, of course.

[He's ignoring that other part, save for a death glare.]

Of course.

[And Jade smiles :) at the death glare.]

... I don't think I can accept it.

That's fine. It's a very human trait to be unwilling to accept the passing of someone you cared for. Just so long as you don't do anything foolish as a result.

... I won't.

That's good to hear. Your lady friend, Colette, is a sweet girl. It would be terrible if you ended up doing something that made her cry.
