Agreed. Given that it's gone through the effort of actually sending us formal invitations this time, it probably won't be as terrible as the last one was.

I didn't mind the first half of the last one so much, but like, then I spent the rest of it sort of curled up and whining the whole time? It was lame. I think like, most parties would be a big step up!

Well, you're definitely closer than you were. You've mastered the basics of the 1960's, at least. [He'll just leave out how immodest the behavior of the hippies was at times and keep him innocent to that.]

But see? Not everything is immodest. It's just a matter of finding things that both suit your tastes and keep you from looking like a historical reenactor.

It's just, a lot of stuff from this time and later looks pretty, um.... skanky.

I'm like, not actually sure what that word means. The book I saw outfits like this in first said some stuff about them, but it was like, super vague... Still, it's totally nice to know that some of the clothes from that century are cute and decent!
