My big Choey Table Claim: *N Sync: Chris/Joey
Title: Once.
Author:
lucylooo Characters: Chris, Joey.
Prompt: 01. First Time
Rating: R-ish.
Length: Medium.
Brief summary: There are quite a few first time stories in popslash. There’s the both of them are virgins type, the neither of them had been with a man story, and so on. Lucy’s story is a surprise because not only Joey has never been with a man, he’s straight. He’s just caving to Chris’s seduction techniques because Chris is persistent. And he gives him one chance. Just one night to prove him he’s really good. Chris delivers.
"Why not?" Joey asked. "You've been trying to get into my pants for months, now. That's all I ever hear, when we're alone - how good you are in bed, and how much I'm missing by not ripping my clothes off and jumping on you like a pig in heat. So, here's your big chance, hotshot. Go ahead - blow my mind. Convert me, if you can. "
"But - " Chris said. This was _not_ the way that he expected this to go - not that he'd ever really seriously _expected_ this to happen. Yeah, he flirted with Joey - and with JC, on occasion, but JC just flirted right back, and kissed him, too, and it was all very unserious between them. He thought he probably _could_ sleep with JC, if he really wanted to, and that somehow took some of the wicked fun out of it. He teased Lance by rubbing up against him and grabbing him unexpectedly, making him blush and stammer, although Lance was getting more used to it and a little bolder, now, and would sometimes rub back, just a little. Justin - because of the presence of his mom, especially - was too dangerous to play those kinds of games with, so Chris kept a strict hands-above-the-waist policy going with him.
Joey was different. Joey was straight, despite all indications to the contrary. Joey was the only guy Chris knew who was artistic, creative, funny, bad at sports and _still_ straight, and, although he was infinitely tolerant of them, he had been totally uninterested in reciprocating or agreeing to any of Chris's come-ons, or, indeed, those of any other guy who happened to misguidedly bark up his tree. That's part of what had made coming on to him so much fun for Chris, because Joey was something that he couldn't have, yet he took the flirting in good-natured stride and never got mad or defensive about it.

Once Claim: *N Sync: Chris/Joey
Title: The Old Apartment
Author:
visionshadowsCharacters: Chris, Joey.
Prompt: 29. Oops
Rating: R
Length: Short.
Brief summary: This story is one of those that fit in like, three prompts. After a lot of thinking, I choose oops mostly because it’s about things that neither Chris nor Joey meant to say to the other and they end up saying them in the worst possible moment, which leads to a very strange situation that lasts for the whole duration of *N Sync, and ends up back when everything started, at an apartment that Chris and Joey used to share before *N sync. Told mostly in flashbacks, there are a couple of scenes that makes you want to reach out and bang their heads together, to see if they finally get it. It’s that good.
“Who is that?” asked Justin excitedly. “He’s amazing.”
JC squinted through the crowd. “That’s Joey! Holy shit.”
I looked at JC in surprise. “You know Joey?”
JC nodded, grinning happily. “I went to high school with him. He was a year behind me but we hung out a lot.”
“He’s my roommate,” I said it quietly, trying to hide the fact that I was turned on. Fucking tight pants. Why did JC talk me into wearing these out? “For like, eight months now.”
“Haven’t you heard him sing?” JC looked at me incredulously. “Don’t you know how good he is? Chris, he’s perfect for the group.”
“I didn’t think about it,” I mumbled it, looking down at my feet. I obviously knew that Joey sang and danced but honestly, I’d never heard him really try. It was always singing in the shower and stuff like that. I was suddenly insanely jealous of JC for knowing what Joey’s real singing voice was like. “Sorry.”
