Toxteth Cemetery

So having a hyperactive border collie for a housemate means I have to take her on super!power!walks after work each afternoon. I take her to the wide expanses of Sefton Park via a shortcut through Toxteth Cemetery.

Yes, definitely. I think seeing it as only a release from the pain and the daily grind helps somewhat. There's a cliche that the Victorians were afraid of sex and fine with death, and we are fine with sex and afraid of death. Inaccuracies aside, I like their fatalistic (and romantic) view of death. Zounds! Will we ever get it right?
