You know I already love this. Beautiful written, rich in details, and full of Helo love and compassion. And I like Gaeta so much that the two of them in this emotional state is just *guh*.
Could Helo please take care of me now? You show this side of him well.
Also, this bit: he’s under the impression he must have drunkenly experimented in flight school one night, because something about the muscular feel of Gaeta seems like it might be familiar. is so very believable and so very Helo. lol
Oh, I love this. Oh, HELO. Just so...::flappy hands:: He's just so GOOD. And nice follow-up on stuff the show kind of decided to...not.
And little details like this- Gaeta was never absent, just like he never spelled anything wrong. and Gaeta’s first name feels wrong on Helo’s tongue, sort of like when someone calls him Karl, but at the same time necessary.
really struck me.
::twirls you::
(Also, while I'm here and commenting- thank you for the comment-fic earlier! It made me smile lots. :))
I can't quite get out how much I love this beyond saying just that. It's so...intricate and beautiful, I just can't stop looking at it. It's a wonderful piece of work.
The rereading thing- THANK YOU for saying that. I have some fics I read multiple times, and that to me is a huge compliment, because when I reread, I rediscover why I loved them in the first place!

Heh. I know how that feels, getting good reviews from people who aren't your friends. It's a great feeling.
