Books read in February

I try to keep my blogs reasonably separate - I keep my bookishness over on my review blog (Just One More Page), (most) of my photography/craft and general life stuff over on A Bowerbird’s Nest, and then, of course, all my fandomy flailing here. There’s been a fair bit of cross over lately… so please let me know if this starts to irritate.

Hey, "Little Brother" looks familiar...what's it about? I've read so many books it's hard to keep track of them lol

It takes place in a very near possible future in which, after a terrorist attack, the government really clamps down on security and the tracking of individuals etc.

One boy, Marcus, is in the wrong place and the wrong time and is taken captive by the government, when he's released he leads an underground, internet-based rebellion.

Books and books!! You two really need to stop me from wanting to do stuff like this. It's sooo cool and pretty and shiny and ooooo books!

I for one love the cross posting. It's double Becca love and two chances to comment not to mention half the time my rss feed poops out.

Hehe, I pretty much expected the "ooo books! Shiny!" reaction from you :D

I had a good month - I think you'd enjoy 84 Charing Cross Road. Very quick read, but wonderful.

while I'm disappointed I'm so predictable I'm glad I didn't disappoint.

just checked and my library actually has it (and the movie...?) that never happens. I'm sticking it on my list for May :D

Duuuude! you read a lot! After seeing this I've decided to try and read at least 1 book every month... I only read like 25 books last year! Ill try to double that number this year...

Yay! I am totally in support of these idea. Did you know that if you read one book a month you're already reading more than something like 87.3% of the population? (Okay, so I made up that number, but it's something high like that).

And as for my having read a lot: I'm a pretty speedy (I aim for 100 books a year), and am also currently unemployed ;)
