I went in the Riedel store in Austria... they are quite serious. They have a wine glass for every type of wine that exists! Here's a link to their English site, check out their wine glass collections, and then look for the Sommeilier series. :P

You got to visit the Riedel store? Very cool! Actually, I was already familiar with the Riedel series of glasses, and regularly ogle them on Amazon. It was just the ginormous fishbowl of a burgundy glass I had not seen before. I can't think what one would use it for, other than maybe really high-class communion. ;) (My apologies is that's a little bit blasphemous. I firmly believe God can take a joke, even if the Church can't. Just look at the platypus.)

It's no good as a decanter, since to lacks a spout, and it's too big to really drink from. So why does it exist? I understand the one that holds 30 ounces. What I don't understand is the one that holds 134 ounces.
