Nik sent this to me a couple weeks ago, and I keep meaning to post it. Given that we've been doing some serious talking about what we're going to do when the zombies come, now seems a good time to post.

Hm. But you do live in a gated community. Reinforcing the preexisting defenses might be good.

I thought about the gated community aspect, but the gate provides no actual security. incandiferous got in under the gate on a few occasions. I'm still not sure why he did this, but it tells us that an adult can penetrate the gate.

Remember the noise factor in moving to a more defensible position. Cars make noise and may attract more zombies...
