Playing in the dirt

I love Seattle. I noticed the other day that my rose bushes have tiny red leaf-buds on them, so I went to a nurdery yesterday and picked up asparagus and rhubarb plants, and raspberry starts. It's spring. In February. I could get used to this. It was gorgeous out today, so I set to clearing out some of the silly ground cover from my garden space. I

"nurdery" has to be my favorite typo of the year. I can't get "get thee to a nerdery!" out of my head. :D

It's where nerds go for garden supplies. Seattle is, after all, a "nerd bubble in the woods." Now I'm torn between compulsive desire to fix it, and amused inclination to leave it as is. Maybe I'll fix it later.
