Just in case my status as Biggest Geek Ever™ was in question...

The image viewer I use at work is called Opticon. Every time I see the word, I think it must be the result of an illicit liaison between Optimus Prime and a Decepticon. Rebecca, I've met you, I've met your husband, I've met my boyfriend, I've met some of their coworkers, I've met my SISTER, and I've met a score of people you don't even know about. In the race for Biggest Geek Ever, you score high in several key categories, but ultimately, I don't think you crack the top ten in overall geekitude. Top twenty, perhaps, but not top ten.

That being said, I whole-heartedly agree on the origons of something called an Opticon, and also that it takes a fairly high level of geekery to come up with that.

(They reproduce with spare parts. You see, when two Autobots love each other very much, they go to the junkyard, gather the bits they need, and create a brand new baby Autobot. The personality software is donated from both parents, at random, creating an entirely new personality in the new Autobot.

(Yes, I just came up with that. Yes, I thought about it. No, I'm not going to tell you for how long.)

Well, if we were speaking entirely seriously, I'm not remotely in the running. But surely the level of geekitude displayed in pondering the reproductive habits of Transformers merits a little hyperbole?
