Some of the school teachers all ate dinner together at this Tunisien resteraunt in Villers-Cotterêts Friday night. It's not the sort of thing I would usually be interested in, but I'm trying to do as much as I can during my remaining time in France, so Heather, Sarah, and I went together. The dinner started at eight, so we guessed we would be back

You and Nim's Island-- I assume a YouTube video of this will soon be in the making? I just saw the beginning of Sweet Home Alabama on TV with Dakota as a young Reese Witherspoon. She looks very odd there. (Dakota, that is.)

I can't believe Heather thought you'd miss your students. Ha, she doesn't know you at all. List of things Rebecca will miss more than her students: goat cheese, Chinese Sara, Obe, French Wheel of Fortune, goat cheese, Nutella, Heather, goat cheese.

Can't believe you will be home in a few weeks. Eva can't wait. Sara came over yesterday, sunday. It was so good to see her and you in her pictures from the trip. I love the nome picture. Eddie, our big grey cat died yesterday morning. John found him laying in the yard when he went out to get the paper. I guess it was old age, he was around 12. We all got up at 7am and buried him in the backyard. I will miss him. Mom and Carla are returning home today, they spent a long weekend in Birmingham visiting Chris, Susan and his boys. It is actually chilly this morning in the 50's a cold front came through last night. Well all for now, love aunt connie
