700th LJ ENTRY! And I decided to celebrate by changing my journal layout! I'd had my eye on this new layout for some time, and I really love it. It's such a cleaner, simpler, more grown-up look. I switched over to it last night and spent some time tweaking it to get my sidebar just right. I don't have a personalized header image in this layout, so

Didn't you use to have an Indigo Girls quote as the heading of your journal? What was that? What's your current header quote from?

The constant among your many layout styles is that they always show up on my Friends page in blue, so I can always tell at a glance that it's you posting.

Yeah, I've been through a few different journal titles. The Indigo Girls quote you're thinking of was "Would you trade your words for freedom? / That's a barter for a blind man," from their song "Three Hits." My current title is from a Jewish hymn, "L'chi Lach," by Debbie Friedman.

The blue text is in reference to my username, although looking back now, I kinda wish I hadn't chosen a username with a color in it. It limits my journal layout choices, because I always feel obligated to choose one in blue.
