One year into Coronavirus, and one shot in the arm into the vaccine.

Things at my job have shifted a bit recently. My coworker D left abruptly one day this month. I still don’t know what happened there, and I don’t think anyone else does, either. Boss-Man just announced one day that D was no longer with us and that the security code to the front door had changed (and I don’t think that had ever been changed before). Then my coworker Ad left the week after D. Apparently she’d decided to be a stay-at-home mom again and put in her notice, although I didn’t really hear about it until later. (Y’all have no idea how much I hoped she’d become a stay-at-home mom again when she had the darn baby last year.) I don’t miss her, but it was kinda weird without her at first. She’d been working there since back here and was good at her job, even though her constant talking absolutely wore. me. out. She never learned how to use an "inside voice." Neither one of them got a send-off like M did when we left last year, so it felt a little awkward.

Coworker S is on out maternity leave, and J (who was working there waaaay back when I first started) has been rehired to replace W, and W has been moved to D’s old job. I have to work with W way less now, and I am so happy about that. W was the worst kind of lazy slacker and would die if he ever went two minutes without looking at his damn phone. He’s supposed to just be working here until he graduates college, which is taking him way too long. But at least now he’s now working in a different department where he can be An’s problem. J, his replacement, is so much his opposite attitude-wise that he’s practically bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. Coworker Sh was hired earlier this year to replace M, and she has been getting on my nerves with all her talk about the new house she’s moving into. She also takes home every single scrap box I get (literally every single one) and has for weeks. Luckily I don’t have to see her that often.

Easter with Athena and her kids (and my mom) this weekend!
