With the Arctic Blast still blasting, it's been as cold in our neck of the woods as it has been everywhere else. I actually read somewhere that every US state except Hawaii had freezing temperatures this week. I still have yet to get a snow/sleet day out of it (and likely, I'm not going to) but I shouldn't complain, because at least we have power again. When Sara and I got home from work yesterday, our power had gone out! A few buildings in our apartment complex had lost electricity. I almost turned right around and went back to work to continue round-cornering pads. But instead, we went out to dinner, and shehekianu, by the time we got back, power had been restored!
So we might not have another snow day, but I did want to post some pictures of the snow day we had back
here (my first). It was even more stunning after the sun came out.
Not to brag, but this one is my favorite. It reminds me of a Christmas card.
