I agree. The Buffyverse has so many interesting female characters. I also really like Cordelia! I think she's underrated in S1 to S3. She has some funny and kickass moments.

Cordy isn't the most sympathetic person in Sunnydale, but she made a fun foil/ally.

Ditto to Sheila. Too bad we never see her again(

I thought she had a lot of potential! Plus she inspired one of my early ficlets, as did Joyce.

Buffy is my favourite female character too.

Mostly.

Sometimes I get doubts and think that maybe Darla is.

Darla was pretty much wasted on Buffy. It wasn't until she showed up on Angel that she really got interesting. That first scene was fabulous, though. Eat that entitled jerk, Darla!

I have to say Buffy is my favorite too, but honestly? I just love them all. Geeky early season Willow! Sassy Dawn! Snarky Jenny! Anya, pretty much always! Loopy, terrifying Drusilla!

Honestly, even Kennedy has grown on me in the season 9 & 10 comics.

Nobody ever calls and offers me tickets to the opera. /bitter

Girls! Girls! Girls! It's a rare show that gives us so many girls! Good ones, bad ones, ones who climb on rocks! It's a cornucopia of feminine variety. So cool.

The opera ticket turned into 2 opera tickets, so I got to go with MiAmor! It was fabulous, and I ddn't even fall asleep in the 2nd act, as I am wont to do. Success!

Buffy is my favorite character too! How can you watch a show called Buffy the Vampire Slayer if you didn't love Buffy? I know some people don't like her but Ijustdon't get it.

Buffy has her bad moments, as do all the other characters. IMO, she does amazingly well, considering all the slings and arrows life throws at her, but other people don't see it that way, I guess.

When I was telling my best friend about the show last year I said that I loved Buffy but apparently she's not well-liked in fandom and she replied "Who watches a show when they don't like the protagonist?" Smart woman. (She's just started watching S1 a little bit and fell in love with Buffy in WTTH btw.)
