sometimes i worry about people forgetting about charlie. he is gone but i daily have this relationship with who he was and what he continues to teach me

Totally brought tears to my eyes.

I never met Charlie in person, but I remember seeing pictures of him on Patti's journal and reading about his medical ups and downs. I remember me and rhaine prayed together for him. (incidentally, I wrote about this in a project I was doing discussing important personal moments for me online, and how I find it hard to consider these moments to not be part of "real"/offline life).

So I guess that's my long way of saying that, I will never forget Charlie either. And I'm glad that you have such great friends in your life like the one who sends the cards every year...restores my faith in humanity. Charlie deserves that. And so do you.
