i'd have said call your doc and have them fax you on letterhead that you need to have real food during the day.

That would have been an awesome idea.

But I figure that if I "get caught" I'll just explain the situation.

Maybe they'll take pity on me - especially if it means I won't get sick all over their seats! :)
