I didn't get painkillers after 2 out of 3 oral surgeries. You're still doin' better.

I'd suggest calling in on Monday if you're still really hurting and DEMANDING some good pain pills. Otherwise, you're going to be miserable for a good while. And I still suggest ice lollies to numb the pain. They really do help and if you eat enough of them, the stomach shuts up for a little while.

I'm not sure if I would rather not have the painkillers at all, really. They've waged a nuclear war on my stomach.

I believe I will be calling the doc on Monday and demanding a miracle. We'll see if he complies.

I think they like it so much not only because they're getting paid but because people are funny when they're loopy. My friend, right after he got his pulled out, got out of the chair, went up to the dentist and put his arm around him and said in a sort of drunken voice, "You know, I just want to tell you. You just did such a wonderfully fantastic job, really. I'm such a fan..." etc. It was hilarious. :)
