Amaaaazing! Sherlock would totally be into Messiaen, I'm adding this to my personal canon. I love Messiaen too. Turangalîla-Symphonie <3! Such a fascinating bloke, too. His birdsong stuff, siiiiigh. *happy face*

Awh, yay, I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. <3

Messiaen is amazing. I spent a while today listening to the actual songs of the blackbird and nightingale (which he represents in the first movement of his Quatuor) and flicking through the score and going wowwwwwww. The more I study this piece, the more I am awed by it!

Thanks for reading and for the awesome comment. ^^;

Ooh, new composer! Shiny! Thank you very much. ♥
I loved Sherlock's lecture, John attempting to remember Messiaen & the details. I hope it helped you study! :)

I found this in the Sunday Rec list over at sherlockbbc by the way.

And oh, the details, haha. Thanks for your compliments! Glad you enjoyed. :)

It certainly did help me study -- and was good stress relief, too. The Quartet for the End of Time is an awesomely amazing piece of music, especially given the circumstances it was composed in.

... did you really? :3 I am awesomely humbled and have a huge grin on my face now!
