Yes, in most places it is against the law for cyclists, at least adult ones, to ride on the sidewalk. THINK people!

That's a very intelligent post. I have on two occasions had to brake hard on a left turn (my fault!) for someone in a crosswalk. Once, it was a bicyclist, but another time a walker. And one time I nearly got run down by a car while I was in a crosswalk. OTOH, on the other side of the issue of bike on sidewalks, I really wish I could find the woman who ran into me in a crosswalk on her bike while I was walking on the MSU campus. She asked, "Are you okay?" and I said "No," so she fled, while I limped to the infirmary for a bandage for my skinned knee and elbow.

Good post. People have to THINK when they drive.

I'm generally never annoyed at cyclists. I am glad they are out biking, even if they are in front of me or slowing me down. I'm happy to wait until it's safe for me to pass them. Am I crazy?
