"Insolvent," your mother

I'm supposed to be getting a housing deposit back from Tübingen to the order of €400. I gave them my account information with Wachovia so that they could flood me with delicious euros, and was expecting like a 50% return on the thing since the dollar was worth so much less. Mine came back tinnier than hoped, but it sure as hell came back. To a Wachovia account, no less. I basically just wrote to them that I stood in a Wachovia and spoke directly to the wire transfer office, which said everything was operating as normal. I got this message on October 16th:

Sehr geehrte Frau Allen,

danke für Ihre E-Mail.

Heute habe ich mich mit unserer Bank in Verbindung gesetzt. Überweisungen an die Wachovia Bank sind wieder möglich. Ich werde die Überweisung heute für Sie und Herrn Hubbard in Auftrag geben.

I wonder if you would have it after all if the seven had just been correct. I have no idea why the bank would become "insolvent" again. :(
