I just want to comment on this chapter, really, because... wow. When Light woke up to L in a pile of dust, I thought 'gotta be a dream, don't panic'. Then he started killing his friends and family, I thought, 'huh, still, probably a dream'. Then there was Near, and the falling in of the world to apocalypse, then Ryuk dying, and all the horror, and I'm actually believing this is a real part of the fic, really. Then he wakes up and L is alive? It really was a dream?

Well done, I was shocked as I was reading it, but then I finished reading and ended up actually shaking in fear and shock. Not only have I never been so jerked around, but you did it, and I really can't, you know, gaaah.

You have driven me crazy with this. You officially win. Let me have the chance to pay you back some day. Also, I may have to review everything I've been reading (and if you've checked out my journal, you'll know that's a lot).

All in all, love the story. I'll be recommending this to a lot of people.

Saw this part on the kinkmeme, and immediately came here to reassure myself that you were going to turn it into a dream sequence. Haven't actually read it yet... I'll just do that now.

I'm really glad that you are continuing this; I'm hoping for the scene where L does those tests he was thinking of.

Oh. Gawd.

Through the beginning of this chapter I sort of figured it was a dream, but then as I kept reading I starting becoming convinced it wasn't just a dream.

My face was like this :o For the rest of the chapter. Then as I read the last paragraph where he wakes up, it was like :O 'Cuz you totally screwed with my mind here.

It was awesome!

Can't wait to see how he changes, if he does, after such a nightmare o.O
