Yeah, stupid kids really don't seem to get how dangerous it is when it is so dry out. My lawn is half dead in the back because of the heat and a dire need to muck about with the sprinkler heads. There is a farm just down the road that I always worry about when the corn dries out too.

I guess get the hose or talk to the fire department about clearing the mess to prevent more fires? Or would the police actually go check periodically if you ask them to? Just having some blue uniforms checking the area might prevent them from coming back?

omg, no, that's NOT me holding stinker butt LOL! that is my 16yr old son. we used to weigh the same, but now i outweigh him by, oh, 50 lbs? yeah, i used to be one of those who bounces back, but not anymore.

in hindsight, a little fire in my backyard was mild for this summer. too too many homes lost all over TX.
