pimp!iruka is making me giggle. 'hey, buy my beeches!' *giggle* and yeah, anko remembers, but they were very young then - orochimaru left before the kyuubi attack, i think, so that would have made iruka like 8 or 9, and anko 9 or 10. she's still kind of freaked out by the whole orochimaru thing, so keeping her distance. glad you likey the iruka! one day i will write the crack fic in my head in which iruka wears a white spangly ice capades costume, complete with skirt...

In the 'Great Naruto Timeline', Anko is the same age as Iruka. I've already dinged that one away, putting Anko one year older than Iruka. It also says she became a genin at 10, 2 years before the Kyuubi attack. Sometime between age 10-12, the Yellow Flash becomes Hokage and Orochimaru leaves in a huff, taking Anko with him. I have to assume he left before the Kyuubi attack, otherwise he might have made another bid for Hokage
