Well, it's been 5 years since we married. The celebration and the handfasting before it were pre D's immigration to Canada so we commuted through this year and the following 2.

Great pictures and great garb. What made you two decide to go for that theme? Awesome! :)

We went to "the complete William Shakespeare abridged" and fell in love with the doublet the wardrobe designer had created.

We love dressups anyway and do a lot of Cons and some SCA play so... we hired the designer to make something just right for my darling D. Then I had a friend run something up for me. He was the star :)

I used to be in SCA...ages ago, it seems. I doubt my hubby would have gone for a Viking-themed wedding, though... (We met after I left the SCA). Anyway I LOVE the pictures.

Yep. Roberta Hats in Victoria provided the base in persian lamb (or polyester, not sure which) and Karen added an Ostrich feather and a Chinese Pheasant feather. It looks great on me too, wish we had 2 of them.
