Our Wedding 7-22-2005

Aug 04, 2007 23:29

Yes, we got married on a Friday, but in our church Saturday evenings are reserved for masses...and I really wanted an evening wedding. So...we're weird, I suppose...whatever. :D Ummmm...there's a few under here - they're professional pictures, but I'm lazy and decided to only post a few. Enjoy anyway!

Thank you, thank you! I loved it, too!

I kind of wish I could have had it freeze-dried or however they preserve it. Unfortunately, I was overly tired the next day and tossed it in the trash! The hydrangeas were browned by then from the heat and the roses were already droopy...but I wish I would have thought a moment and kept some flowers and ribbon from it for a scrapbook page! *grrrr*

Awww! Thanks! My poor hair...I'll have to post another picture at some point...it was 107 degrees that day and I got my hair done at 1:30 in the afternoon. By the ceremony (after 2 hours of pictures inside and out), my hair was almost completely non-curled. It was worse at the reception - but by then I didn't care! :D

Beautiful! :)
When my mom and stepdad got married, my aunt missed the picture... so she yelled, "WAIT!" and everyone laughed. "I missed it, do it again!" It was hilariously cute. And that picture is in a frame, and i like it even better than the "real" kiss because they're both glowing and smiling because they were cracking up. :)

Ha! That's so cute! Yeah, we were both standing there after the priest announced us, like, "When can we kiss?" and he never said anything! The music started for us to leave and so we just leaned over and pecked each other.

Then, halfway down the aisle, the photographer stopped us and told us to give her a real kiss. We were happy to oblige. :D

Beautiful pictures! I am really curious - what are the white flowers in your bouquet? My wedding is next year and I LOVE the texture of your flowers :)

The bouquet had red roses, white stephanotis (only a few - those suckers are EXPENSIVE!!!), and white hydrangea. That's also what the girls carried - clutches of white hydrangea. I loved it, too...and had no idea what was going to come out - I was horribly indecisive on the bouquet and left it almost completely up to my florist. He's a god-send.
