We didn't do too much in the way of flowers - my mother-in-law made the centerpieces out of flowers from Michaels, the local florist did the bouquets and boutonnieres/corsages and two arrangements in front of the fireplace. The only flowers I insisted on having included somehow were lilies and sunflowers.
The carnation corsages (in the box) the bouquets (mine was the one with lilies) and one of the centerpices:
Flowers weren't the most important thing to me, so my MIL did our bouquets for us (I mean, they were free for us then, how could I resist?). I let her have complete creative control over them as long as they were green and white mostly, and she could add some hints of purple if she wanted. Otherwise, she picked the flowers and did the arrangements and they were great. They smelled wonderful, which was the most important thing to me really, which may seem weird, but I love the smell of flowers.
Sometimes I want to get married all over again just to use those green orchids. I love how you mixed them for more variety and not overkill of the orchid.
Thank you! Like I said, all credit goes to my MIL, but I did tell her I wanted some green flowers and I loved Orchids. I didn't know they existed truthfully. I wanted something that had a free flowing, almost wild flower look to it, nothing too structured personally and I think that was achieved.
Our centerpieces were 4 callas in a mason jar filled with water and those clear decorative rock thingies (technical term, of course!). The only flowers for the whole thing were my bouquet, a small bouquet for my MOH, single stem callas for the bridesmaids and flower girls, and the centerpieces. Sadly, these are the closest I have to a pic of the centerpieces:
