Cara & Brian held their reception at the home of Cara's parents two weeks after their ceremony cliff side in Rockport, MA. Continuing with their beach theme they didn't miss a single detail, including this amazing lemon raspberry beach cake!

the fact that they both changed their last names is so interesting...i've heard of people combining (not hyphenating) their last names to create a new one but never changing it to something completely unrelated...

i wonder how their families felt about it...

it costs a billion dollars (alright thats a bit of an overstatement). its very frustrating, my fiance and i were going to make a new last name from our old names... and it was just outstanding how much it would cost ):

im sure its the same to change it to something unrelated.

something about creating new records and blah blah blah. they make these things so hard!

for myself and my husband, we both changed our last names w/a hypen... my parents loved it.. but his family is reluctant.. it really hit home when we got new passports and went abroad w/our new last name!

That was actually her bouquet - it was a great shade and it lasted from the ceremony which had taken place two weeks prior till the reception.
