[There's a bit of an awkward stumble to Lloyd's steps once his surroundings shift, from the shop and the forest around it to the sudden expanse of stars that he had seen earlier. He had no idea what brought him back to the shop, but here he was, and... now he wasn't sure what he was supposed to do. What was there to do in seemingly endless space

Lloyd nearly falls off of his perch as he whirls around to see who spoke out of nowhere, and-
Properly does fall, when he sees the shape of his body surrounded by stars. Something... Something stirred in him. It was a very strong sense of déjà vu, as if he's seen... something like that before. That shape surrounded by stars...]
... Hey. Hey! [That guy's not paying attention to him, so Lloyd feels he has to get it back. He even strides forward, ignoring the fact that he was stepping so carefully along the unseen floor just a moment ago.
Where has he...]

I'm not hard of hearing. What do you want?

[That's what he was saying, anyway, until the statement really hits him.
... Yeah, there's no way this jerk is familiar to him. He abruptly stops as that little spell he was under breaks, and he stares for a second, wide eyed, before he relaxes himself, frowns, and raises his arms in a shrug.]
Hey, you're the one who answered me. You can't just ignore someone after that!

You found the kiosk. There's no need for me to explain anything else.
[Looking at this kid again, he's not sure he's even literate. A shame, but with that attitude? Not exactly unbelievable.]

... Is that an Exsphere?
Reply
It is. You've seen one before?
[Depending on how the boy answers, he'll be able to tell what world he's from. Probably. But why drag a kid in here?
Fffffff, this place.]

Uhh... yeah, I have. I... saw it on... a swordsman. A drifting swordsman, once.

[He turns to leave again, then stops and glances back at Lloyd.]
You would be wise to actually read what's in front of you.

[Augh, there's that stupid feeling again, now that the man's back is to him. It's just plain annoying now, and he frowns and purses his lips. Damn it. He can tell Kratos could see through that pathetic lie too.
If his father were here, he'd stare him down and get him to fess up just like that. And maybe threaten to withhold supper.]
Wait- Just... wait. [Stupid nostalgia talking for him... But now he has to give an excuse for it.] I actually do know someone in Iselia who has one, okay? [That would be himself.]

Iselia, hm?
[Well, that explains a lot. And it also makes things complicated, because the Chosen of Mana resides in that hamlet and he's going to have to escort her soon. This kid might continue to pester him with questions on the journey if Kratos doesn't give him the coldest shoulder he can manage.]
That person must not possess much strength if the others hide him so.
[And yet... and yet... there's just the tiniest bit of doubt in his mind-- and he pushes it aside.]

What did you just say?!

Why are you so desperate to prove something to a stranger? [a light scoff] This is no place for child's play. Go home.
[Kratos, you have ascended from Jerkass to Douchebag in like two minutes.]
Reply
... Fine. If you want me to go home so badly, why don't you tell me how?
[Lloyd you cheeky little bastard.]
Reply
Shall I remind you how to breathe, too? [HAHAHAHA he goes on.] Imagine your home and consider taking a step forward. You can return the same way... assuming you have that much freedom of thought.
Reply
I'll show you who's got freedom of thought! So I just step forward [Which he does, almost mockingly, since this sounds kind of ridiculous-] think of home and-
[POOF. There he goes.
...
A few seconds later, he returns, only to stumble with a "Whoa!" and just barely catch himself, his legs spread with one foot way in front of the other and his arms out to his sides. Because there's no way he's going to fall in front of this guy.]
