[He rubs the back of his head, embarrassed, but smiles anyway.]

[He straightens up and stops pacing when he realizes he's not alone, and he smiles a bit when he sees who it is.]

Morgana! Hey! I, uh... [Okay, maybe he's blushing. Maybe. Will he admit this? Never.] Well, I'm... gonna propose to Valerie. My girlfriend.

[He nods.] Kind of. I mean, it's more like how it's done where she's from. It's similar though! Just a few little differences... I'm rambling. Right! Sorry. Uh, yeah, basically the guy just tries to make the girl's day as romantic as possible, then at the end... gives her a ring and asks her to... you know... marry... him.

[Back to that dumb, sappy smile. He can't help it.] Goddess, Morgana, it's impossible not to think hard on it. [But then, the worry comes back.] I mean... it's me. What if I screw it up? When he finally spots the onlooker, he jumps, breaking off his mumbling with a rather loud,]

Gaaah! ... Fuck. What... uh. Hi! Sorry. I... Didn't see you.

[But he's just sneaky ;;] [Chuckles amused.] My apologies if I startled you. I just noticed you look worried.

[Eithan shakes his head, smiling a bit, sheepish and embarrassed.]

Heh. It's all good, man. I-I'm just... well, not worried, exactly. Nervous, I guess.

[Oliver is grinning in a rather sappy sort of way as he walks up to Eithan, amused and glad for such happy news] Beaches are romantic!

[Eithan blinks at Oliver, not entirely registering that what Oliver says is directly related to what he's been rambling about out loud... then it clicks, and he smiles - a little embarrassed, a little nervous, but mostly just sappy and... contented.]

Yeah. They are, huh? I just... You know, it's me. Somethin' 'd probably go wrong. [A slight laugh]

[grins] Well, if that's you, then she'd probably be disappointed if it didn't!

[He laughs again.] Good point, man! Just... so long as it doesn't go really, very wrong, it'll probably be okay. Right?

[Eithan's pretty wary of the guy overall, but he's not going to just dismiss him right off. After listening to the given advice, though... he laughs.]

I'm pretty sure she already knows I run my damn mouth too much. If she was gonna leave me for that, she would've already done so. But you're right about taking her out somewhere! And about how I shouldn't lose my head, but I think I've already done that, so uh. Oh well? [Grin!]
