[Rico is sat on the bottom bed of a bunk bed, carefully inspecting each part of a disassembled pistol, before putting it back in place. She continues this without looking up, until she's finally finished putting it back together. She looks at the gun with a pleased smile, quickly checking that everything is as it should be

[Well, it isn't loaded at the moment so she should be safe? Rico looks up, and smile.] Yes, Signora.

[Smile and nod.] I practice most days, and I have to use it on a lot of my assignments too.

[Up wanders Mu, looking somewhat worse for wear, still, he affords Rico a small smile when he sees what she's up to.] A friend of Henrietta, I'm guessing.

[Smile, and a nod.] Yes, Signore. You know Henrietta too?

I do. And I should like to know anyone she considers a friend. What is your name, small one?

It's Rico. Do you mind if I ask yours, Signore?

[A little green snake is coiled up a short distance away, just far enough to hopefully not startle the little death machine girl.]

[Eep. She jumps, staring for a moment while she places the voice.] Ah. Hello, Signore. Why are you a snake?

That's, er...a bit of a long story. Currently it's something to do with an experiment.

[collareddog]

...experiment?

[mercwamouth]

[collareddog]

[Looks up and nods.] Yes, Signore.

[mercwamouth]

God, right down to the creepy "Signore" thing.

[collareddog]

That's how I'm supposed to address people.

Pretty sure that's illegal. How old are you, ten?

Thirteen, Signore. [Not that she looks it. Or that it makes it that much better.]

Three years off. Point remains. Unless you're from some weird universe where it's okay for kids to just run around with pistols, then just don't take out your anger on your middle school.

Or whatever.

Don't worry, Signore. I have to practise using my guns regularly, so I know how to use them. And I don't think the others in my class would attempt to harm my handler, so there's no reason for me to attack them.
