[Jack is on the Plane, looking rather lost. He's frowning and scanning the area around him, as if he's never seen this place before. One moment he's there, and the next he drops from the Plane, looking quite startled as he comes back. There's a pause, and then he does it again.

And again. And again.

Finally he settles for staying on the Plane,

It is the scent of one who is lost, completely.

[He crouches down so that he's at eye-level with the wolf, reaching forward and scratching behind her ear softly] Couldn't have said it better myself.

[blinks] Is is broken again?

Your wristband? That's what you're checking, isn't it? I did lock down some of the features, though, but it should still work for your purposes.

[He glances down at the wristband, then back up at the Doctor] What are my purposes?

[Not actually aware you're referring to him]

[Goes to stand next to him before trying again.] Jack?

[itsthecoat]

[Looks at Ianto, confusion clear on his face] What?

[brigadiertardis]

[hey there, Jack! look who's come to try and make amends for being such a complete and utter bitch the last couple times you talked? and she's also trying to build up an immunity to your Fact-ness because the Doctor told her to! but she still stays a little away, taking this very, very slowly. baby steps and all]

[Jack takes notice if only because of how slowly she's moving. He looks at her curiously for a moment, and then his eyesight shifts elsewhere]

[brigadiertardis]

[well that was entirely unexpected and the TARDIS actually looks somewhat affronted. yeah, so she said some really mean things. sure, she told him he had to stay away because he made her sick. so what if she said she couldn't love him? that was no reason for him to turn away from her when she was actually making an attempt at getting to know him! really, the nerve of some people!

she continues to advance slowly, but at least this time she calls out] Jack?

[Awww, it's not his fault really. Complete memory wipes tend to be really inconvenient like that. At least now it's as if she never said there was no way anyone could actually care about Jack or that he is below her~

He's figured out enough from other people to know that's his name, and so looks up] What?
