[holds up a bag of sweets because clearly when you want to get information from kids, you should bring the right sort of leverage. he's also looking at them, wondering how they're feeling this time]

[Though they were a little nervous when Oliver entered, the gifts and his cheerful mood seems to have eased them. They accept the bag quite happily, the sort of childish happiness that washes away everything else.] We're fine. Thank you very much for the sweets.
