A THIEF IN THE NIGHT

[Axel casually strolls in. He leaaaaaaaaaaans around the aisles, looking for any signs of life. Not finding any immediately, he begins to browse the shop. He even goes in back! Because he's nosy.

It's not his first instinct to steal despite being an RPG character and therefore accustomed to walking into people's houses and opening their treasure chests. When he's found some stuff of interest, he walks right up to the counter and sets down his purchases. A container of cupcakes, underwear that says DO NOT STORE IN SUNLIGHT on the package, a pair of sunglasses, and a bottle of hot sauce.]

Aaaanybody home?

[Silence. Hrm. He leaves some funky orb-shaped money on the counter, shoves the goods into his coat and walks out. He does not have the patience for this.]

[Later that day, a little boy appears at the counter. The boy stares at the money... then eats it. The boy frowns at the odd taste, then disappears.]
