Okay, who really thought Nancy was telling the truth?

Seriously?

The woman is a walking dispenser of deceit.

Update: Chuck Schumer was also a big fan of "doing what it takes" in the war on terror (back when he wanted to fight it).

This is a good reason to have a Truth Commission to investigate this issue.

And then we can make Dick Cheney, Jay Bybee, John Yoo, Alberto Gonzales, John Ashcroft, Porter Goss, Donald Rumsfeld, and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, on the stand to testify under oath about what they knew and/or authorized about this unamerican business. The truth will out!

How very Communist/Fascist of you.

Nothing like a show trial to appease the subjugated masses.

Who will be the scapegoats once you've liquidated the current ones?

Yes, if there's one word that comes to mind when I think of government accountability and transparency, and government officials agreeing to testify in a public and non-binding commission, it's.... fascism.

Gold star!

Just like those Democratic show trials when the Republicans were in control of Congress. Democratics didn't like what was happening so they had their own little parties with their own little witnesses so they could come to their own (preconceived) conclusions about things.

I'm sure there will be a lot of questions like "have you stopped being a criminal yet?"
